Here are some things on the internet I find interesting for reasons of cultural or intellectual significance.

• Minimeters by direct, a metering utility for computer music.
• I'm getting ready to DM my first game of Dungeons and Dragons 5e. I've found a few useful tools, and I plan to try and borrow some of the scraped audio at Wowhead to use for ambience.
• Forest Flower performed by Carvin et al . Probably my favorite modern jazz recording.
• Beeple. A digital artist whose material sometimes serves as good writing inspiration.
• Shannon's Mathematical Theory of Communication. Every digital technologist (not just developers; infrastructure, architecture, and data people too) should reread this every once in a while.
• ＣＯＲＰＯＲＡＴＥ災害. Music I listen to while working.
• Beardyman on BBC Radio 1. Great video for musicians of all types.
• Minesweeper in-browser
• FAUST, Programming Language for Audio Applications and Plugins. One of these days I'll get around to giving this a try, since it supposedly compiles to Max/MSP and VST plugins.
• Block voicing for jazz arranging. A great article about block chord voicing specific to horn sections, but very useful and informative in general.
